So, Christmas is coming and the goose is getting fat. Well Christmas is on its way, I have started making Christmas cards. I have done 2 so far. Busy busy busy. Only like 1 million to go. Here is a picture of the ones I’ve done
I used a cute little stamp of a blue nose bear. Coloured it in, cut them out and built the cards.
I’ve done a few more bits for some cards but they aren’t finished yet so I’m not sharing pictures.
I’ve also made a couple of birthday cards
Sticking with cards for a bit on mums orders I now have a stamp to put on the back of the cards I make you can just see it on the picture above. Here is a picture where you can see it properly
I’ve been doing some tangling as normal. Here are the tiles I’ve done
I’ve also done some work on some larger pieces. For this one I used the Beyond The Secret Key Hole stencil set:
I got to play with the Day of the Dead (Dia De Los Muertos) stencil set too.
It might sound morbid but it’s about celebrating life. Sugar skulls look brilliant and are just ripe for tangling on. The stencil set is awesome.
At weekend mum and Harvey went in the east lancs ghost train. They went dressed up and I ended up doing mum’s makeup.
Think the purple lipstick just finishes off the look. (I have been know to wear it at times too).but I did the eye makeup.I also did something for Harvey, I gave him a moustache.
I’ve also started sewing some Christmas present that mum and dad want to give to their friends. I’m making some pot holder over cloth things. I’ve made 3 so far. They are all the same fabric so have the same look.
I think that’s about it this week. Back to the Christmas card grindstone.
