No meds muppet.

Let’s start off with Monday. On Monday I was a knob. Most of the afternoon I wasn’t feeling right and I was feeling a bit panicy. There was quite a bit going on last night, a friend had gone back into hospital so I was worried about that. I was worried about not being able to help out at churchon Tuesday because it was the MS Social night. And a few other things.

You name it Monday evening I was worrying about it. I’m not sure what made me check but it turns out that some knob head forgot to take most of his meds for the day. I’d had my morning meds and then missed the rest. So I found out that I’d missed them at about 8:30pm. So decided to have my evening pills brush my teeth and go to bed. So Monday wasn’t really a good day.

Last Thursday night I did the service again with Tracy so a bit more medium type things then and it was development group night on Friday so there was a bit more there too.

Last week my crowning achievement was making myself a new knitting bag, I followed the instructions for the knit and crochet project bag in Stuart Hillard’s book Bags for Life. It’s the second bag I’ve made from the book. The instructions a quite straight forward and easy to understand. So here is my bag.

It’s got loads of pockets and it’s quite big inside. My current crochet project fits in with room to spare so when it comes to putting it together taking everything somewhere shouldn’t be an issue. I go the fabric from Abakhan. I used rainbow fabric for the lining and Van Gogh starry night fabrics for the rest. I think they work really really well together.

This is a picture of what the bag looks like in the book.

I’ve been doing a fair bit of tangling over the past few weeks and I’ve really enjoyed it. Sandra launched a new flower stencil set and I’ve been having a play with that and these are the flowers I’ve done:

The picture with lots of flowers on it didn’t go to well. I had the image in my head of this beautifully water coloured garden scene with some fantasy flowers. So drew out the flowers got the water colours out and started to colour/paint them. When they were coloured I thought they looked absolutely rubbish so decide to leave it there and consign it to unknown. I’ve been tangling along with the Facebook live tiles too:

I’ve had to make one of those not so nice cards too. Unfortunately one of our neighbours passed away so here is the card I made for the relatives

There are some other things I should talk about. It was the Queen’s Platinum Jubilee. At first I was thinking about just staying at home and chilling out for the day. Then I thought about it and realised that I wouldn’t see another one and it is cause fora celebration. Mum and dad were invited to the official mayor’s event starting with a church service and then on to a dinner. I was invited to the attic street party so decided to go there. Unfortunately the Sunday of the event the weather wasn’t great and it was raining on and off so rather than a street party they decided to have the event inside. It turned out to be a really enjoyable day. And to top it off the attic got an award too. The Attic Project received the Queens Award for Voluntary Service. It was announced by The Deputy lieutenant of Greater Manchester. It’s a brilliant award for an amazing group.

They other thing is about my friend that has gone into hospital. She is a brilliant person but she has 2 dogs. As she’s in hospital she isn’t able to look after them. So we have a new lodger.

She’s called Tilly and she’s staying with us until her mum gets better. She’s quite a timid dog. She’s taken to standing at the back door and whimpering as if she can get in. Then we you go to help she either runs away or just hops through the door with no issue. Anyway she’s staying for a bit and she’s cute.

Thats about it. someone is at the back door whimpering again.

Love and light
